Biography

Prof. P.L.A.G. Alwis is a Senior Professor in the Department of Agricultural Engineering and Environmental Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ruhuna. His work focuses on practical agricultural mechanization, including farm machinery design and technologies for paddy cultivation and land preparation. He holds a B.Sc. (University of Ruhuna) and postgraduate qualifications from Montpellier, France (M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Agricultural Machinery), and contributes through research, publications, and technology development.
