Biography

Mrs. K.A.I.M. Amarasekara is the Assistant Librarian of the Library, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ruhuna, a position she has held since February 2022. She obtained her B.Sc. in Agricultural Economics (First Class Honours) from the University of Ruhuna in 2014, and her Master of Business Studies (Merit Pass) from the University of Colombo in 2017. As the head of the Faculty Library, she is responsible for all academic and administrative functions of the library. Prior to joining the University, she served as a Lecturer in the Department of Management Studies at the University College of Matara (2015–2022), and as a Demonstrator at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ruhuna (2014–2015).
