Biography

Dr. U.K. Bandaranayake is a Senior Lecturer (Grade II) in the Department of Animal Science, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ruhuna. She holds a PhD in Science and Engineering from Saitama University, Japan, an MSc in Experimental Biotechnology from the Postgraduate Institute of Science, University of Peradeniya, and a BSc in Animal Science and Fisheries from the University of Peradeniya. Her research interests include molecular biology, biochemistry, immunology and animal biotechnology.
