Biography

Current: [Dr(Ms). Chathuri Lankani Karunarathne is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Crop Science, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ruhuna. She completed her Ph.D. in Agricultural Sciences (Plant Physiology) at Hiroshima University, Japan, where she also served as a Researcher. Her research focuses on phosphorus use efficiency in intercropping systems, plant nutrition, soil fertility, vegetable crop production and quality, protected agriculture, and phytoremediation. She has contributed to studies on genotypic variability in low-phosphorus responses in maize and soybean, vertical farming, fruit crop industry analysis, phytoremediation of heavy-metal-contaminated soils, and characterization of indigenous crop genetic resources in Sri Lanka] Change to: [Dr. Chathuri Lankani Karunarathne is a dedicated researcher with a special focus on improving nutrient use efficiencies to advance sustainable cropping systems] Feel free to contact Dr(Ms).
