Biography

Mr. Prabath Ruwanpathirana is a Lecturer (Probationary) in the Department of Agricultural Engineering and Environmental Technology at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ruhuna. He completed his BSc in Agriculture at the University of Colombo and earned his MSc in Geo-informatics from the Postgraduate Institute of Science (PGIS), University of Peradeniya. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Water Resources Engineering at the University of Tsukuba, Japan. His research focuses on water resource management, remote sensing, GIS applications in agriculture, and precision agriculture technologies.
