Biography

Prof. S. Rajika Amarasinghe completed her PhD. in Saitama University, Japan in 2011. She joined the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ruhuna in 2012. Prof. Amarasinghe seeks challenging responsibility for her career advancement while utilizing her knowledge and skills for the betterment of the organization, working with fullest dedication, determination, and resourcefulness. Her key interests are Soil Science, Water quality, Environmental Science, Solid waste management, Composting, Water pollution control & water stewardship, and Modelling of groundwater and Tank cascade systems.
