Biography

Ms. B.S.S. Basooriya is a Lecturer (Probationary) in the Department of Crop Science, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ruhuna. She is a self-motivated and enthusiastic agriculture graduate specialized in Crop Science, with a deep passion for advancing agricultural knowledge through scientific research, innovation, and continuous learning. She has experience in agricultural research, with several national and international publications. She earned her BSc (Hons) in Agricultural Resource Management and Technology from the University of Ruhuna with First Class honours (OGPA 3.86/4.00) and is currently reading her MSc in Statistics at the University of Kelaniya.
