Department Overview
The Department of Agricultural Engineering and Environmental Technology supports teaching, research and outreach at the interface of agriculture, engineering and the environment. Its activities span climate-smart agriculture, water and soil management, environmental monitoring and the use of smart technologies to improve farm productivity and sustainability.

Teaching & Learning
The department contributes to the BSc (Agriculture) degree and related postgraduate programmes by offering course modules, design projects and field-based training in agricultural engineering and environmental technology. Students gain exposure to laboratory work, modelling tools and on-farm demonstrations.
