Student Hostels
The Faculty of Agriculture provides on-campus residential facilities for students. Hostels are located within the faculty premises at Mapalana, Kamburupitiya, ensuring students have easy access to academic buildings, the library, and recreational areas.
🏠 Hostel A — (Women’s Hostel)
- Located on the ground floor of the residential block
- Reserved for female students
- Facilities include study rooms, common area, and secure living quarters

🏠 Hostel B — (Men’s Hostel)
- Designated residential block for male students
- Facilities include common rooms, reading areas, and sports courts nearby
Sub-Warden: Mrs. Ayesha Nirmala
General Facilities
- Canteen and dining facilities within the faculty premises
- High-speed internet connectivity in the hostel common areas
- Sports grounds and recreational facilities nearby
- 24-hour security on the faculty premises
Application & Eligibility
Hostel accommodation is allocated to eligible students based on distance from home, academic year, and availability. First-year students are given priority. Applications are submitted through the Faculty Office at the beginning of each academic year.
