About the Service
The Student Counselling Committee of the Faculty of Agriculture provides a confidential and professional counselling service to all undergraduate students. The service is free of charge and aims to support students in coping with academic, personal, social, and emotional challenges that may affect their studies and quality of life.
Counselling Team
- Director A designated senior academic member who oversees the counselling committee
- Counsellors Academic staff members from various departments who serve as student counsellors
Types of Issues Addressed
- Academic: Study skills, examination stress, time management, academic performance concerns
- Personal: Family problems, financial difficulties, health-related concerns
- Social: Interpersonal conflicts, ragging/bullying, adjustment to university life
- Emotional & Mental Health: Anxiety, depression, low confidence — referred to professional services when required

- All discussions are strictly confidential — no information is shared without your consent, except in cases of serious risk to safety
